School Business Manager

20 hour per week / 41 weeks per year

Required from September/ASAP  

SO1/NJC 23-25 – (£30,151 - £32,020 FTE)

 

The Spinney is a popular and welcoming Group 2 village school in Cherry Hinton on the Southeast outskirts of Cambridge, age range 4 – 11 and we have an exciting opportunity for a School Business Manager, to join our team from September/ASAP.  This is a permanent, term time plus INSET, plus 10 days and the hours are 20 per week, to be agreed. 

 

Are you resilient with a sense of humour?  Do you have a positive, can-do attitude?  We are looking for a School Business Manager who can demonstrate:

 

 

  • Experience of working in a school environment
  • Experience in a managerial capacity
  • Experience of working as an Office or School Business Manager
  • Excellent financial/budget management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of schools' finance, HR, property management and safeguarding?
  • Willing to improve your own skills, learn how our school and the wider education system works, and seek improvement for us where you can?
  • Is a strategic and solution-based thinker. 
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent ICT skills with experience of using Microsoft Office packages.
  • Flexibility in adapting to the changing needs of the school on its road to improvement.
