Class Teacher - 1.0 FTE (Permanent Contract)

Required for January 2023 Full Time / Main Scale

Midday Supervisor

Hours/Weeks:            5 hours/Term time only (38 weeks)

Salary Scale:               Scale 1C NJC Point 3 – salary equates to approximately £9.62 per hour

 

We are looking for a Midday Supervisor, to join our happy, caring, supportive team to supervise children at lunchtime in the dining area and on the playground as soon as possible. This role is term time only, with the hours of work as follows:

Monday – Friday:                             12.00 pm – 13.00 pm. – 5 hours

 

Are you: 

  • able to assist children with manners and socials skills during their lunch hour?
  • able to identify children that might need that extra support to make some new friends and join in games?
  • able to help with the domestic duties included in the daily running of a dining hall?
  • keen to join a happy school with a committed and hardworking staff team?
  • calm and patient?
  • able to work effectively with parents, staff, and other adults?

 

The Spinney is a popular and welcoming Group 2 village school in Cherry Hinton on the Southeast outskirts of Cambridge, age range 4 – 11.

Wraparound Care Assistant

Permanent hours – 13.75 hours per week

Required ASAP  

Scale 1 – NJC point 3

 

We are recruiting for an After School Club Assistant on a permanent hours basis, from 3.15 pm – 6.00 pm daily, during term time only.   

 

The successful applicant will be:

 

  • Enthusiastic, warm, and kind

  • Positive, Caring and Sensitive
  • An excellent Team Player with the ability to use their own initiative
  • Aware of the importance of promoting a happy, healthy, and active lifestyle


We are looking for someone with a bright and positive attitude, who enjoys working with the children.

Ad hoc/Casual Cover for sickness/holiday

Required ASAP  

Scale 1 – NJC point 3

 

We are recruiting for a relief After School Club Assistant on casual hours basis.  The After School Club operates from 3.15 pm – 6.00 pm daily, during term time only.   This position is to provide ad hoc cover when the club is short staffed because of illness etc.
