School Clubs

Clubs at The Spinney

The school offers a range of extra-curricular clubs and activities for the children, before school, during school and after school. Please click on a link below to find out more.


KS1 Choir



Mrs Rigby organises the KS1 choir that sings together on Tuesday mornings from 8.30am to 8.55am, If you would like any more information please contact Mrs Rigby.


KS2 Choir


Mr. Ecclestone, our music teacher, leads the KS2 Choir on Thursdays after school.

The sessions will run from 3:15 - 4:00pm.   Choir members will receive vocal training and learn skills that complement all instrumental learning. This will take place through fun activities, part singing and through the enjoyment of working within a group towards performances. 

Le Club Français


Le Club Français operate a French club in school on Mondays (Years 1 and 2) and Tuesdays (Years 3 to 6) from 15:25 to 16:10. The club gives children an informal introduction to language learning through songs, games, stories and activities. Please contact Tim Morley on 01223 911575 or visit for further information.



Netball Club

Netball Club takes place after school on Monday afternoons. The club is initially open to pupils in Year 6 only.  The club, run by Mrs. Varley & Mrs. Moore, runs from 3:15 - 4:30pm on the school playground.


Premier Sport Football club


Premier Sport run football clubs: on Thursdays for Key Stage 1 (Foundation to Year 2) children, and on Wednesdays for KS2 (Year 3-6) children. Both clubs run from 3.15pm to 4.30pm.
