The Spinney Primary School
Teaching and Learning Together
The Spinney Wraparound Care offer provides care before and after school for Spinney pupils. We offer a safe, stimulating and happy environment where children are supervised by committed, professional Spinney staff.
If you are interested in a space at our Wraparound Care provision, please speak to the school office and complete the Wraparound Care Terms and Conditions from that can be found at the bottom of this page.
Please be aware that all children need to be booked in to the relevant session via the Parental Portal, we do not operate on a stay and play basis and you do need to book your child into the session.
In preparation for a busy school day, the Breakfast offer focuses on quieter activities such as Lego, arts and crafts, puzzles, toys and board games.
Provision starts at 8:00am and the children are offered a selection of cereal, toast, yoghurt and fruit. After breakfast, there is a range of activities on offer including board games, drawing, reading and construction play.
After School provision runs from the end of the school day and finishes at 6:00pm.
On arrival, children have a snack to keep them going. There are plenty of games and activities to keep everyone occupied, including jigsaws, board games and a 'comfy corner' with cushions to read and relax.
When weather permits, staff take children onto the playground for a run around and some fun and games.
We offer a healthy, balanced breakfast and a range of activities to make sure the children get the very best start to the day. Please note that not all options are available everyday;
Please ensure your child arrives before 8:30am if you would like them to eat breakfast.
