School Office

Welcome to the school office page. We're here to make sure the school runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis, we help to organise events, meetings and visits, and try to keep everyone aware of things taking place in the school.  We are trying to reduce the amount of paper we produce and so we hope that you will be able to access all the information you need on this website.  If you require hard copies of any of the information, such as policies, timetables, curriculum maps please let us know.

Office Opening Hours

The OPS team is here to make sure that school runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.  You will be aware that at certain times of the day it can become very busy and we are considering ways to improve efficiency. The office is open from 8:30 - 9:30am and again from 3:00 - 4:00pm for general enquiries.  If you are dropping off post, or dinner monies for example and do not need to speak to anyone, please use the red postbox in the front entrance.  This is emptied twice daily.  We would like to encourage you to read the weekly newsletter for information about school clubs and events and to always check the weekly timetable so you can ensure that your children have the correct equipment in school each day.

Absences

If your child is unwell, please call the school office to let us know. Please leave a message on the school answer phone as we will check this regularly.

In order to improve pupil attendance levels across the country, government legislation introduced means that Headteachers are no longer able to authorize any requests for children to be taken our of school during term time.  The new law states that requests for leave can only be granted in "exceptional circumstances".  However, if you would like to remove your child from school, please complete the documents below stating your reasons clearly.  We kindly request at least one week's notice to process such requests.
