Welcome to The Spinney Wraparound Care page.....

As you will certainly understand, in the context of COVID19 we're constantly having to review what we are safely able to offer as a school.  Unfortunately, the Wraparound Care provision described below is currently significantly affected. We are very sorry that we are currently unable to offer Breakfast Club. Our After School Club is operating but only for pupils in our Early Years Foundation Stage (Strawberry) class. Please contact us in the school office if you would like to be considered for the waiting list.

The Spinney Wraparound care offer provides care before and after school for Spinney pupils.  We offer a safe, stimulating and happy environment where children are supervised by committed, professional Spinney staff. The provision is managed and run by Mrs Jelliman and Mrs Cordy.

  • Registration forms are required for all children attending either club so that staff are aware of any specific dietary or medical requirements for the children.  These are available at the bottom of this page, or from the OPS team in the school office.
  • Bookings are made termly via the relevant Booking form available below, or again via the school office. This should be submitted prior to attendance at the club.
  • Mrs Jelliman will create an invoice for your booked sessions at the beginning of each term, outlining the many different ways families can pay, including ChildCare Vouchers, the Governments Tax Free Voucher scheme or direct bank transfer.
  • The club operates term time only, excluding any Professional Training days (see our school term timetable here).
  • If your child is unable to attend a session, funds cannot unfortunately be reimbursed unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Our Breakfast Club Team

Breakfast Provision

In preparation for a busy school day, the Breakfast offer focuses on quieter activities such as Lego, arts and crafts, puzzles, toys and board games.

Provision starts at 8:00am and the children are offered a selection of cereal, toast, yoghurt, fruits and juices.  Please ensure your child arrives before 8:30am if you would like them to eat Breakfast.  After breakfast there is a range of activities on offer including board games arts and crafts, reading or puzzles.  Staff will take children onto the playground for some fresh air at 8:45am for the school day to start at 8:55am.
